THE TRUCK OF HONOR IS A ROLLING MEMORIAL WHICH SALUTES THE MEN AND WOMEN IN THE ARMED FORCES AND THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES ON 9/11.
The Tractor And Trailer Are Painted With Beautiful Artistical Murals.
The names of all of the first responders or firefighters who gave their lives in the Twin Towers are found on the bulkhead of the trailer.
On the left front side are the names of the police and port authority officers who also made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11.
On the right side, the mural includes the Twin Towers and a monument to honor the heroes of United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania.
The rear of the trailer is a mural of soldiers serving in Iraq.
Events Attended
One of the many events the Truck Of Honor participated in was to lead a caravan of Chicago area firefighters on motorcycle. We lead the way from the Chicago Fire Department to the Flight 93 Temporary Memorial near Shanksville, PA. for the fifth anniversary of the crash - See our Picture Gallery for photos.
